AD Update - Q4 - Feature Release

We have just released a bunch of updates and changes to improve our application that we hope you like. See below for what we have been up to:

New Stuff

Formatted (HTML) Requests

This is a big one for us cause we had to change our entire ESP (Email Service Provider) to do it. Now whenever you send an approval request it will retain its formatting, making things heaps easier to read and understand. Send formatted requests directly from your own email or add it to an online form using a Panels Email address.

Online Forms Module

Inline with the above change we have just launched an Online Forms module. The new module helps anyone with an Online Form from the likes of Wufoo, Typeform, Cognito forms and loads more add an approval workflow to their form. Great for Order Forms and Staff Leave requests etc.

Delete a Panel

This has been a common request we often get so we are pleased to get this one done. Now a Panel Owner can fully delete any Panel and all its associated requests. Great for removing any test Panels.

Delete your Account

We have to admit this feature is a little counter intuitive for us. However now you can (if you really want) completely remove yourself and your profile from Approval Donkey. Be careful with this one because there is no undo and you won't be able to re-register under the same email address.

Because we had to change our ESP as mentioned above it meant we could no longer keep some of the email addresses associated with the Approval Donkey domain,Therefore going forward if you ever need to email us please use the address info@approvaldonkey.net

AD Update - Feature Release

Here's a quick update of the new features and updates we have just released in response to our users suggestions and requests.

New Stuff

Branded Notifications

Now you can apply your own branding (logo, company image) to any external notifications and requests you send to any of your Panel members. This makes you look like the ultimate professional and gives your members confidence when responding to requests.

Reports

See our brand new Reports section where you can create reports for all your historical requests which can then be filtered, sorted and downloaded into .pdf, print and .csv formats.

Send Approval Screen

Now you don't have to leave Approval Donkey to send approval requests with all your Panels available and the ability to apply formatting to any requests available directly from the 'Send Approvals' button.

Attachments on Requests

Panel members are now advised of any attachments you attach to to an approval request sent from the new 'Send Approvals' screen.

Status Notifications

Stay in the loop on all your requests and get an email notification when things are approved, declined or overdue. These can be easily turned on/off via your settings page.

Non-Member Status Notifications

Just like the status notifications you can now receive, anyone who emails an approval request to a Panel for which they are not a member can now get regular updates for how their requests are progressing. This is really handy for things like Staff Leave and Time Sheets etc and is set via the Panel Settings. Requester's don't even need to register for Approval Donkey to get them.

AD Half Year Update - Half Off Sale

New Stuff

Multi-Step Approval Workflows

Now you can add approval steps to new and existing Panels, perfect if you need to create an approval chain with people or departments etc.

Set Required Responses

Set how many members need to approve or decline a request within a group. Great if you have a group of people with equal approval rights like an Admin team.

My Pending Folder

This new folder only shows the requests you personally have not yet responded to, making it really easy to manage your workload.

Turn on/off Email notifications

Use this to stop receiving auto emailed requests, handy if you get a lot of requests and don’t want them clogging your inbox. 

New Panel Owner Role

Panel Owners now have the flexibility to create workflows and choose if they want to be part of the approval process or not.

Xero Enhancements

+And Conditions

+And conditions allow really customised routing of approval workflows. For example; any Bills over X amount +And with the line item tracking option of 'Z' will be routed to Panel 'Y'.

Xero.json Files

This file provides the raw data from your Xero transaction that is not view-able from the PDF version. Meaning you don't have to login to Xero to check certain fields.
